Baby at 7 Weeks Pregnant 🚼
Baby may only be ¼ inch right now, but this week he'll double in size! WOOT! Thankfully, his tail is diminishing and will disappear completely in the next week or two.
The little buds for his arms and legs are pronounced, and you can even see some definition where baby's sweet little hands and feet will form.
Facially, baby’s eyes and nostrils are taking shape, and his eyelids, mouth, and tongue are all forming. And amazingly, he already has his miniature pancreas, appendix, and kidneys.

You at 7 Weeks Pregnant 🚺
Making a baby takes a lot out of you.
At this point during my first pregnancy, I was working a full-time job, and by the end of the day, it was all I could do to crawl home, shovel down some food, and collapse into bed.
And that's because your body is working a full-time job now too (overtime, in fact). You are growing not only a baby, but your placenta too... you know, the organ that will provide food, oxygen, and sustenance for that child.
To make room for all of this precious new cargo, your uterus has DOUBLED in size since this pregnancy adventure began.
So, if you’re feeling knackered before the sun sets, just know that extreme fatigue is normal. For more energy, one simple thing to do is drink enough fluids (at least 2 quarts of filtered water per day). Dehydration can actually be a major cause of fatigue. (Who knew?)
Going to bed before 9 p.m. can also be a lifesaver. Did you know that the sleep we get before midnight is the most important of all? Yes, some sleep specialists believe that every hour of sleep before midnight is equal to two hours of sleep after midnight. Crazy, right?! So do yourself a favor and hit the hay early. If you need help getting some good zzz's, be sure to check out this week's Hot Topic posts.
