(Since hearing the name from that “Friar Show” I like.) Beth Reply Felicia White Aug 24 at 9:22 am This name was my father in laws middle name. He passed away 2 years ago, we thought it would be nice to honor his memory this way. I love this name because I can shorten it to Leo, which is cute. Also it makes him a Leo that was born under the constellation Leo Reply Kristin Aug 30 at 2:32 pm Leopold means bold. Our Leopold was very bold in his movements in utero which is part of why we picked the name. He’s also been our boldest vocally. We didn’t finalize his name until we met him at birth. Reply Kristin Jun 14 at 7:59 am Leopold means bold. Our little guy was very bold in his movements while in the womb so much so my hubby could actually see them. After he was born, he was also very bold in his vocal expression of needs. We waited to pick the name until after we met him (also waited to find out the gender). Even in just his few short weeks outside the womb, he has been bold in his movements (scooting/creeping himself to the wall of bassinet and off of the play gym mat when placed in the center for tummy time.
