Share Your Thoughts 3 Comments Lisa Lorraine Jun 16 at 2:55 pm I love my name Lisa, I was born in 1970 and I have my name tattooed on the right side of my chest with cherry blossoms? Reply Lisa Oct 16 at 4:00 pm I really like my name Lisa! I was born in 1967 and apparently it was a very popular name in the 60’s. Approximately 70% of the time when I am around people that are close in age to me there are 2 or more Lisa’s. The preschool I am employed at currently has 2 employees name Lisa, myself included. At one point there were 4 teachers with the name Lisa. I don’t know if I am bias but typically Lisa’s are generally very nice and caring people with beauty features that are considered I pretty by society. ( At least the Lisa’s I know :). I have taught for 21 years and have never had a student named Lisa. It is definitely not the popular name like it was in the 60’s. Reply Lisa Lynn Devlin May 26 at 4:16 pm Hello Lisa Yes, my name is Lisa as well and yes I agree that it was very popular in the sixties and according to a graph showing the name’s’ popularity, it was at its height of popularity in 1964 and yes, that’s the year I was born. Now however, the name is very rare with only a few of us left over from that era. So yes, I’m happy with my name although I wasn’t as I was growing up but I’ve grown into it and I love the fact that it’s now something of an anomaly to be called Lisa.
